Coverage Snapshot

A stated, dated description of which jurisdictions, case types, or asset classes a model or corpus reliably covers, distinguishing deep, validated coverage from thin, nominal coverage. A coverage claim without a snapshot date and sample depth should be treated as potentially stale.

A coverage snapshot is a dated, specific statement of exactly which jurisdictions, case types, or asset classes a given model or corpus reliably covers, and at what depth, distinguishing a jurisdiction where granular estimates rest on a deep resolved-matter sample from a jurisdiction where coverage is technically present but comparatively thin. Both can be described as covered in marketing language without that description conveying the very different confidence a capital partner should place in each one's pricing, which is why a coverage snapshot needs to state sample depth per segment, not only a binary yes-or-no coverage claim. Coverage snapshots also need a stated date, because coverage is not static: a jurisdiction's procedural rules change, a new agency's enforcement process gets added to the corpus, and a coverage claim made without a snapshot date should be treated by a diligent counterparty as potentially stale rather than current. This platform ties its coverage claims to specific, disclosed figures rather than broad, undated assertions of geographic or vertical reach, and an institution evaluating any outcome-intelligence vendor's coverage claim should ask for the equivalent: a dated snapshot stating exactly which segments are covered, at what sample depth, and as of when that snapshot was last refreshed.
